Firefighter visit

Today in Te Ope Ruaraki the firefighters from our local fire station came to visit us. They read us a story, brought their fire engine in and even let us climb inside for a look. We learnt a lot about what firefighters do to help people and animals. Here are some photos from their visit today.

    It look interesting I like it it reminds me of when I was in the juniors and the fire track came you code make it beater by not having so many photos.How heavy was that big thing?

    Hey its Connor from Whakarua, this is fantastic it reminded me of a parade and I got to ride in a fire truck.It would be a bit better if it had a bit less of photos but I really liked them.I have a question for you how heavy do you think the jaws of life where.

    Hey kids it's Kainga from South Hornby School.I really like the truck it was really cool because I have never seen a fire truck at a school before.This reminds me of a movie that saves people from fire.One question did you like being in the fire truck?

    I really like your photos because it looks like you are having fun. It reminds me of when they came to see us. I liked how nice the firefighters were. How long ago did they come to see you?

    hi juniors I like your photo's of you all in the fire truck and this reminds me of when i went in a fire truck. Maybe you could write something about what you are doing.
    Do you know why the writing on the firetruck is back to front?
