Liam has been very busy!

Look at Liam's beautiful picture that he made using leaves that have fallen in the cooler weather.

I love the colours that autumn brings to the trees.

Liam has been to the Botanic gardens and fed the ducks.  He was lucky to see eels as well.
Liam I love eels, especially the Long Fin eel.  They are very special to New Zealand and under threat.  We need to look after them.

This is Liam's cat - her name is Millie.

What a beautiful cat Liam.

Thank you for sending in your photos.  I love seeing Millie.  You have talked about her at school.

Please keep sending in your wonderful artwork - very creative.

  1. Liam, Your cat is gorgeous. I think she looks very happy to have you at home to play with her. I was hoping I would get to see a picture of Millie one day. I love your Autumn picture. You have found some lovely colourful leaves to create your picture. Well done you superstar.

  2. Wow Liam, you are a lucky boy to go to the Botanic Gardens - I love walking through there. How special to see the eels, you sound like you know a lot about them. What pretty colours the leaves are at them moment, how clever to make a picture with them. Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

  3. Liam, you have done a wonderful job arranging the leaves into a nice pattern with different shape leaves beside each other. How exciting that you saw the eels. They are amazing creatures, so skilful at swimming and they can be so gentle with their mouths when you are feeding them. We love hearing about what you have been doing.

  4. It is lovely to see some of the things you have been doing at home Liam. I bet Millie is happy to have you to pat her all day long. It is such a good idea to make a picture with the leaves they look great. Have you ever tried a leaf rubbing? To do that you put a leaf under the paper and rub on top with the side of the crayon. I wonder if some of the other children will try to make an autumn picture now you have given them such a great example to follow.
