Aleigha and the Solar System

Yesterday Aleigha and Mum did some research on the solar system!

It was very exciting to learn different things about each planet.

Gosh Aleigha, you astound me with the learning you are doing. I can see you noticed that the planets are different sizes, and made yours to reflect that. What was your favourite fact to learn about the planets?

  1. Aleigha liked that each planet is different. Some are hot some are cold. She also found it interesting that not every planet has a moon and some have more than 1. And that earth is the only liveable organic planet so we need to take care of our planet and keep it clean.

  2. One of the best things about learning from home is that you get to choose what you want to learn about and share what you learn with your class. I am very proud of you Aleigha for learning about something you were interested in without the teachers telling you what to do. Great job mum for helping you with your research.

  3. Wow Aleigha I think you have a passion for Science. What cool learning you have been doing. I think you are going to be filling another room's floor in your house with all this work you have been doing. I was wondering if your gorgeous cat helped you with this learning as he likes to come to our google hangouts and playing in your dolls house. I think your cat is doing lots of learning too.
