We have another birthday to celebrate.
Sophie has turned 5 and is joining us in Te Ope Ruaraki.
What a crazy way to start school Sophie!
Today she has been working on writing her name.
She is also practicing counting to 20 and back and singing the alphabet.
She is enjoying all these new ways of learning.
This is the Yr0-1 Learning Community, South Hornby School blog. This will be your go-to place for news and happenings in the Yr0-1 area this year.

Welcome to Te Ope Ruaraki Sophie. I look forward to meeting you in person when we get back to school. You are doing a great job already by writing your name.
ReplyDeleteSophie, welcome to our space! Five - gosh, and such a beautiful cake! Looking forward to meeting you when we all go back to school. Thanks to your mum for helping you write your name. I think by the time we go back to school you'll be able to do it all by yourself! Go You!
ReplyDeleteYay Sophie you are 5!! I am excited you are going to be a school girl in our space. I remember your beautiful smile when you used to come in with your mum to collect Olivia from school. I can't wait to meet you again now you are 5 when we all go back to school.
