River Rapids Ride
Today we read a book Called River Rapids Ride. The water slide looked so cool so we decided to recreate the slide. It's no wonder Luke was scared, look at all those bends and twirls!

ReplyDeletemost of our group haven't been on a water slide yet because we are too young.
DeleteWow! I love your water slide. I really like how you made the floating tyres and how they look like strawberry donuts! I'm guessing that you worked really hard on making this and you must of co-operated really well.
ReplyDeleteWe worked as a team to make our waterslide together.
DeleteI love the water slide you created, it reminds me of when I went to Australia and went on a water slide. It was scary but very exciting. Did the characters in the books enjoy the waterslide?
ReplyDeleteLuke didn't like it at first. Grandma liked it at first but then she got scared. Then Luke was happy after he did it and he said Yahoo!!!

ReplyDeleteKia ora I really enjoyed looking at your waterslide you have put a lot of work into modelling this play dough. I think waterslides are so much fun although a wee bit scary sometimes. How did you know how to make the waterslide? Did you look at the words and pictures in the book?
ReplyDeleteYes we used the pictures to help us create it together. Which waterslide have you been on? We can't wait until we are bigger enough to go on one too.
DeleteI love the water slide that you created and I like that you use Play-Dough.I love going on water sides. Maybe next time you can put walls around it so we can see where the tyres are going.

ReplyDeleteHi Sarah my name is Lorraine and I am from Sockburn School. I relly like your water slide.I like it because it is very creative and it reminded me of when me and my Family went to a holiay trip.
ReplyDeleteI have one question how long did it take you to make this and did you work with someone?.
Lorraine you said one question but you did two.
DeleteHey there my name is William and I come from sockburn school and I liked it because it looked like a mountain also the thing I really loved is that you guys worked as a team so keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThan you, William. We had to work hard as a team to finish it which was quite hard. We decided to break it up into little bits at a time. One of us made the donuts while the other created the mountain. Two of us worked on the slide and we worked together to create the water.
