In Te Māuru-e-taki-nei we have just begun to use Explain Everything in our Literacy and Numeracy programme. Last week one of Mrs Cutler's groups were asked to choose their favourite part of a text and explain why it was their favourite, and also to discuss any difficult words in the text that they encountered as they were reading.
