Mindfulness

It looks like we are asleep - but we are not!
Every day after the afternoon roll we do "Mindfulness."
We lay on our backs the floor with our hands resting on our tummy, and our eyes closed, and we listen to the mindfulness clip on the big screen.
We do it every day before our afternoon school work to help re-focus our brains for our learning.  Mindfulness helps us pay better attention and to concentrate more with our learning.
So for this 7 minutes we do look like we are asleep - but we definitely are not!

Wow, you all are doing a great job practising your mindfulness. We might need to try this in Te Pihinga class would you recommend this?
What feelings/ thoughts and emotions do you have after practising your mindfulness.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

  4. Kia ora, we are the Harakeke class at Hornby primary school.

We love this idea, you do look very peaceful! We have a rest after lunch too - what does the music sound like that you listen to?

    Have a good day!
