Author and Illustrator Visitors to our space
Today we were very lucky to have Karyn and Jessica visit our space. Karyn is a former student of South Hornby School and she is now a published author. Jessica creates the illustrations for Karyn's stories.
The students had two stories read to them and then there was time for questions. The students were enthralled by the stories, relating to New Zealand birds.

Lambs Visit
Chelsea and Isaac brought 3 little lambs to visit us at school. They came in Chelsea's car. We got ask Isaac some questions about the lambs.
We found out that they have a pink dot on them to help them know which lamb is which. We found out that they get fed milk from a bottle like babies. They are too little to eat grass at the moment. We found out that they are 12 days old.
Some of us got lifted into the pen with the lambs and got to pat them. Cedrick tried to teach them how to dab!

We wrote some amazing stories about our experiences.
