Every Thursday we have a picture to write about.
This is our picture prompt this week.

We are learning to use our "Eagle Eyes," write about what we can see, and use wow words.
Here are 5 of our amazing stories read out by each author - Emma, Max, Taylah, RJ and Nadiya.

Language Experience

Today we used cut up swimming pool noodles.  We talked about what we could see, feel, hear, etc.  We played a few games with them and then we made them pop.  

We wrote some amazing stories about our experiences.

Walkathon

This afternoon we had our school Walkathon.  We walked, and walked, and walked! We walked over tyres, through hoops, under the net and past the teachers with their funny string spray!  We even had lollies along the way!

The Solar System

We have been learning about the solar system.We know the names of the planets and that the sun is a star.  The planets goes around the sun.  The moon goes around the earth.

Learning patterns and facts to 10

We are using the red/yellow counters and 10s frames to learn patterns and facts to 10.

Making fruit kebabs

Today we made fruit kebabs.  We used sticks, bananas, marshmallows and grapes.  We wrote lots of words for our rich language experience.  Tomorrow we will write about it.

We love creating!

We love creating!  Today Austin and Michael used the blocks to make this amazing creation.  They cooperated together and worked really hard.  They were so proud of what they had made.
