Kiwi Can
In Kiwi Can at the moment we are learning about co-operation. We have been doing some amazing activities with Nicky and Reece each week. It's lots of fun and we are learning to communicate with each other to help us work together with a buddy or in a small group to co-operate.

When we got back to class Te Māuru-e-taki-nei used Explain Everything to create some Digital Learning Objects about our car park.

Car Park Safety
Today Constable Megan called in to talk to us about our school car park. In particular she talked to us about the yellow line around the outside of the car park, and how this means we cannot cross it.
Even if our ball goes in their at morning tea or lunch time we need to get a teacher to get our ball for us.
We should never run in to get the ball ourselves!

Student Voice
Mrs Jones asked a few students what they like about their learning spaces, whether they would change anything and what they are most looking forward to at our new school.

Narrative Writing - The Hedgehog's Wings
In Te Māuru-e-taki-nei we have been learning how to write a Narrative. We watched a Youtube Clip called The Hedgehog's Wings and we wrote a narrative using the characters, problem and solution. Mrs Jones published a few using Explain Everything and we recorded ourselves reading our story out.
Here are Erin, Lucas and Georgia's narratives.
