Action Stations

It's great to be back after the school holidays.
We have loved working with the action stations that Mrs Montofre put out for us.
Max and RJ worked really hard and were really proud of their castle that they created with the blocks.

Wonky Donkey Show

Today we had Craig Smith (the Wonky Donkey man) visit us at South Hornby School.  He sang us lots of songs from his books.  He had puppets too!
It was great!

Super Heroes Visit South Hornby School

Today The Illuminators made an appearance at South Hornby School!

Bright and early before we arrived to start our day of learning they littered the grounds with 270 positive affirmations for us.

School Cross Country

Today was the school Cross Country.
We were awesome!
We showed great FOCUS and PERSISTENCE!

 

 

  

Showing we can sort attribute shapes

We can sort attribute shapes into sets.  We can sort them into groups according to their colour or according to what shape they are.  Our next step is to talk about what group has the most and what group has the least.

Construction Space

We love building in the Construction Space - this master piece was built by Isabelle and Emma.  Didn't they do a wonderful job!

Statistics

We are learning how to sort objects into groups.  We sorted a whole variety of different things using hula hoops.  We sorted according to colour.
