John Parsons - Cyber Smart

This morning the Year 3 students from Te Māuru-e-taki-nei walked down to Hornby High School to listen to a man called John Parsons talk about being Cyber Smart.
He talked to us about staying strong and we showed him our power.

His 4 things to remember were:

  1. People you don't know are strangers.
  2. Be nice to people.
  3. Keep your personal information private.
  4. If you get that funny feeling in your tummy (butterflies) then tell an adult that you love and trust.

If your child is in Year 3 and went to listen to John Parsons today, then have a chat to them about what they learnt.

Off on our big walk to Hornby High School.

In the auditorium - almost time to start.

Waiting for it to start.

Watching the video about Kim & Lee playing an online game.

Showing John Parsons our "Power"

Showing our "Power"

We have the "Power" to be "Super Protectors"
